Happy 6th Birthday Paige

Do I really have a 6 year old? I told Paige Happy 5th birthday several times (she thought it was fun to correct me) because how can it be possible that she is already 6. It seems like just yesterday that I brought home my less than 5 lb baby from the hospital and I didn't know what the heck I was doing. I still don't know what I'm doing but that is just my new normal.

Paige, you are such a sweet girl and you have such a big heart. You are very much a Daddy's girl (which I admit is frustrating at times) but I love seeing you and your Daddy laugh together. You love to wrestle with him and watch shows about hunting and the outdoors. You are not all about Daddy, though. You do have your own fashion sense, you love shoes and you love to dance. I'm pretty sure you didn't get that from your Daddy. And you have some pretty amazing moves for a 6 year old. You are such a great big sister. You encourage Audrey to play with you all day long. I cannot believe God has blessed me with such an amazing daughter.

We decided not to have a party this year. We just had a low-key family celebration. We let Paige open her presents on the Saturday before her birthday, mainly so she could play with Willa her figit friend. She also got a super cute nightgown that she is posing in. Paige was actually running a fever the day of her birthday and couldn't go to school. She was very sad because she wanted to wear the birthday crown all day. As you can see below, she got to wear it when she went back to school. I made her chocolate chip waffles for breakfast and we sang "Happy Birthday". She was not feeling too well. We have an appointment to enjoy a Cupcake Spa Day at Sweet and Sassy with her friend Rylynn. Hopefully, Rylynn will also get to spend the night.

Enjoy the pics below - you know how this girl gets in front of the camera.

Singing Sisters

Just a cute little video that shows how Audrey wants to be just like Paige. Just a little before bedtime entertainment at the Pshigoda house. The memory card was full on my camera so it cut off early. Hopefully, I will be able to catch the two darlings performing together again soon.

Paige singing

I am happy to report that I caught a show on camera tonight. Paige is always singing and dancing and yes, Audrey is always the back up dancer and singer. Tonight, Paige used Audrey's bed as her stage and a dollhouse lamp as her microphone as she sang a montage of songs. Most of the lyrics are her own and probably many of the words are made up, but you will hear some familiar songs in there. She is going to kill me when she is older for posting this...but for now she thinks it is awesome.
