What a feeling

So I haven't been very good at taking pictures. I really need to get a better camera but since we are saving money it isn't an option right now. Paige picks out very interesting things to wear to bed. I swear she has never seen Flashdance but her jammies usually consist of a leotard, tights and leg warmers.

She is so funny and I need to start writing down the funny things she says again. She will be a teenager before I know it and I doubt anything she says will be funny then. Today she told me that when she was hiking at the lake with her Daddy on Friday they saw some people camping in the woods. She said the campers just left their stuff in the trees and it was no appropriate.

She was telling Todd that she loved him so much...55 million beyond 33 (this is her favorite number). Todd told her that he loved her 55 million beyond 34. She put her hands on her hips, cocked her head and said "that's not even a real number."

Oh I forgot to mention that she has some new poses...not sure where they came from.

Crazy couple of months

Wow, I can't believe it has been 2 months since I have posted anything. I am finally feeling settled in our new house. Yes, we moved in less than one month after Todd accepted the offer on June 29. It was crazy. We are renting a house in Walden which is on the west side of Lake Conroe. It has been a big change for me. The commute isn't really that much further (probably only 5 minutes) but it feels like forever to me. There is no shopping out here besides Walmart and Walgreens which should help us with saving money.

Paige started Kindergarten on Aug 22. She was such a big girl when we left her and seemed excited and a tiny bit timid. She is doing the YMCA after school program and is bussed to another elementary school. The first day I wanted her to go ahead and ride the bus. I took part of the day off since Audrey was sick (more on that in a bit)so we went up to pick Paige up around 4:30. She should be there by then since school got out at 3:30. Audrey and I waited and waited. The bus didn't pull up until 5:10. I was panicking and about to lose it. I had no idea whether my baby was even on the right bus. Paige is the youngest one on the bus and they help her. It is very sweet. She pretty much didn't love Kindergarten for the first 7 days but day number 8 she finally walked in by herself and seems to be fully adjusted to the new school.

I would also like to mention that Audrey decided the first week of Kindergarten would be a good time to get sick. I am beginning to think that she didn't want Paige to be the center of attention so she decided to like the germiest think she could find. The week before school started Audrey was running a fever so I took her to a new doctor and learned she had an ear infection (Monday). Thursday she started running a fever again. A bit unusual since she was on antibiotics. This was still going on by Saturday so I drove 1 hour to our old dr. in Tomball. They thought her throat was red but strep was negative so it must be a virus. By Wed. (since I thought it was a virus I think I waited a little long), I took her to another new doctor and learned that her white blood cell count was very elevated which means infection. A finger stick, 2 blood draws, 2 catheters and 2 shots of antibiotics later we left the doctors office. They thought it was a UTI or pneumonia. We got a chest xray the next day and they pricked her finger to learn her count was back to normal. I'm happy to report that even though we never learned what type of infection she had (all tests came back normal) the antibiotics worked and she is back to her adorable, ornery self. Here are some pics of the past couple of months.

Yee-haw. They were pretending this was their horse

First Day of School

Sitting at her table

Kissing Paige goodbye. Audrey yelled for Paige as we walked down the hall.

Sick baby (this is all Audrey did for 2 weeks)
