October 2012 Happy Halloween
As I was searching for Halloween costumes for the girls online, I was torn between getting them what they wanted and not spending lots of money. Paige wanted to be a ninja and Audrey was going back and forth between a cowgirl and cheerleader. When I can't make a decision, I turn to my other half (he would probably argue he is the better half)for help. Todd decided the girls should dress up as duck hunters. Since
Todd is an avid duck hunter and we are fans of the show Duck Dynasty, it seemed like the perfect idea. And to top it off, the girls thought it was a fantastic idea.
Even though Halloween is my least favorite holiday, I'm trying to embrace it. We carved pumpkins and made pumpkin seeds. Paige was invited to a Halloween party the weekend before Halloween and their subdivision did trick or treating that weekend. She enjoyed a 2 hour hayride getting loads of candy in Grand Lake Estates. In our neighborhood, everybody goes to the park across from our house and to enjoy trick or treating tailgating. We had no idea what to expect and Audrey was sick so we made a quick round and came home.
Our little muchkin, Audrey, is at that fun age where she gets sick frequently. She seems to be getting tonsilitis every other month. October marked the worst month yet. She ran a 103 fever for 8 days and since it is a virus we just have to wait it out. She isn't horrible when she is sick but it is still exhausting and overwhelming for Mama!
Cleaning our pumpkins with Daddy
Posing with our carved pumpkin. Paige chose the stencil and then Mommy sat outside and drank a beer and carved this darn thing. I'm pretty sure I considered throwing it across the yard in frustration...but those smiles were completely worth it. I think Todd was even impressed.
Making Pumpkin seeds with Daddy. I'm pretty sure Todd did this before we had the girls.

September 2012
I cannot believe how behind I am on this blog. I'm going to play catch up and then try to work this into my routine again. Since I got an iphone, I usually just message the pictures to my family as I take them. Oh, and then we moved and before I knew it Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas came and went. I'm not going to remember any of the funny things that the girls have said but at least I will get some pictures up. And I still stink at taking pictures with my phone so the cutest ones are usually blurry.

Don't Mess with the Dress
Not sure how many of you have the pleasure of watching Barbie Movies but the Pshigoda Girls love them. One of our favorites is Barbie and the Musketeers. This is why Paige wants to be a Musketeer when she grows up. She has also told me that Musketeer's do not need to attend college. I assured her that there is a special school for Musketeer's so she will have to go to school regardless of her career choice. The famous line from this movie is "Don't mess with the Dress". We do enjoy saying this to Daddy. They love to wrestle with him. Today Paige says to me, "we will defeat you, Mama. We are Ninjas and we have been training." Paige does a karate chop and Audrey tries to kick me. Wish I could capture them in action but it is very difficult.
Don't mess with the dress video - of course Paige decided to make it an original. This was my first time to do video on my phone - which is why it is small (oh and I don't really know what I am doing)
After our bout with the stomach bug the week of the 4th of July, I went out and bought this pool. It was the best $25 I have ever spent. The Pshigoda Family has had to spend alot of time indoors this summer since we have been sick.
And of course Gunner loves it too!

We went to OKC the week after the 4th of July. I didn't manage to get any pictures of the girls with their grandparents which it totally my fault.

Singing Audrey
Well, thought I would make one almost all about Audrey. Why not - she is definitely our more aggressive child. There's a picture of her playing naked in the dog's water bowl. I've also included a video of her singing on the potty. She is going to be so annoyed about this when she is older. Please excuse her hick Mom talking and singing on the video to encourage her. And I couldn't pass up the picture of the two of them cuddling during nap time. Paige was running a fever this weekend and they have each managed to throw up once. Now they are bouncing off the walls. Crazy girls!!

June 2012
Wow! Where has the time gone. I feel like my life has been a complete whirlwind lately. Lots of things have been going on but they are all good changes. I'm afraid this post may be really long so feel free to just skip to the pictures. I know that is what everybody wants to see.
My baby graduated Kindergarten - that is crazy. I can remember bringing my 4lb 8oz baby home and not knowing what the heck I was doing but trying my best to fake it. Paige had a great first year of school. She is definitely not the school nerd her Momma was is. But I'm happy to report that she is a great reader and has an amazing imagination. She has a very sweet heart and loves filling everyone's buckets with "warm fuzzies". She does seem to run on her own personal clock which is slow as molasses and is a bit of a hoarder collector, but I'm hoping she will outgrow those. She is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to see her continue to grow (even if I will be sobbing the entire time).
Whereas Paige is a mini-Abbie, Audrey is a mini-Todd. She thinks it is so funny to irritate me on purpose. Much like her Daddy, she makes me laugh even when I shouldn't. Not sure how this one will turn out since she is already laughing at my mad face. Audrey has successfully moved to a new daycare and is fully potty trained...well, she has an accident every now and then. She talks all of the time. I hate that I have totally fallen into the more than one child trap where you don't keep up with as much after the first one. I just realized that she is 2 1/2 years old today. I will just jot down a few of the funny things that she has said lately...
"Wait, I need to tell you something."
"Oh, I forgot"
"one, two, cuatro, cinco, seis"
"It's not funny" (this occurred when we started laughing because she was so pissed we were putting ear drops in her ears - I know, we are awful)
The girls are the best of friends. They have been sleeping together every night since May. This isn't always the best idea since they stay up to late talking but I love the bond they have. Today on the drive home they were cracking each other up by saying "toilet paper" using funny voices. I can't think of a better sound than to hear your children giggling hysterically - too bad there is no way to bottle that.
So here we are into summer. We have made quite a bit of progress on the house and my builder swears we will be in by the end of August...prayers please. And that leads me to the month of June -
Week 1 - Paige has fever
Week 2 - Audrey has suspicious cough and the doctor says...ear infection.
Week 2.5 - Audrey running fever - no doubt it is the virus that Paige had since Audrey is already on antibiotics for the ear infection
Week 3 - Walking to car in parking garage @ 4:30 and get call from daycare to pick up girls because they both have....drumroll.....lice.
I tell you all of this in good fun because I know I will look back on these days and wonder where the time went, wishing they were still little babies that caught silly, little viruses (probably not the lice part)and how the hell did I do it all.
Hope everyone feels as blessed as I do. HUGS!
Audrey's Funny Face - it is impossible to get this child to give me a normal smile
Flowers Daddy picked out for Paige for Kindergarten Graduation - seriously how can my baby already be 6 and on her way to first grade??? Oh, and I guess I can't forget to mention the awesome vase. This is what you use when everything is in storage. I wonder what we even have in there.
Paige and Mrs. Lutonsky
Receiving her Kindergarten diploma and she won an award for good sportsman conduct in P.E (she doesn't really like to lose at home so this was a bit of a surprise)
Audrey posing with her backpack
It is so difficult to get Audrey to pose for pictures (she thinks it is hysterical because she can tell I'm frustrated - wonder where she gets that...mini Todd)
You must admit they have excellent taste in shoes - they must also get that from Todd
Making chocolate chip cookies for the homemade ice cream sandwiches that we made (too bad I didn't get a picture of the finished product). I love the way Audrey is looking at Paige.
Sweet girl - pretty sure this was taken on one of the days we stayed home because we were sick.
Waterslide Fun - even though Todd detests getting this out and putting it up, he will admit that it is totally worth it. Thank you Mom & Dad!
Can you feel the love - they truly adore each other! At Kindergarten graduation we received a memory book for the entire year. My favorite thing in it was Paige drawing herself as a very old woman and she wrote "When I'm 100 years old, I hope I still get to play with my baby sister." (choked up mama on that one)
Loving her new swimming suit
Paige posing the day they cleared our lot. I will try to post all of the pics we've taken on the house. We are getting so excited!
Thank you God
Audrey was saying this little prayer which I thought was adorable. I must admit that I can't figure out what the second line is but you get the most important stuff - Thank you God......Amen.

Happy Easter and Stuff
As usual I had good intentions but didn't get around to posting our Easter pictures as soon as I would have liked. I guess I should just be proud it is still the month of Apri. Instead of writing a lot of stuff, I am just going to post a lot of pictures.
We had a wonderful Easter. We made it to the sunrise service at the Lone Star Cowboy Church. They held it in the rodeo arena. Yes, I'm totally in the market for some cowboy boots.
Paige is doing a great job in school. She is such a good little reader. Audrey is a total 2 year old which means lots of drama. She is almost potty trained. I am sure once she moves to her big girl school in June with the other big kids she will be "officially" out of pull ups. Paige and Audrey get along so well. They having started sleeping in the same bed on the weekends - it is so sweet.
Todd called me today to tell me that they are going to begin clearing out lot tomorrow. I am so ready to see progress. We have already picked out everything from the design center so I guess I better be really nice to the builder for the next 6 months.

Paige with her BFF Rylynn. This was taken after Paige's day of fun for her birthday - Sweet and Sassy, Cheesecake Factory, Sleepover and The Lorax. I'm not sure Rylynn can keep up with Paige's Poses.
My Mom was bringing her suitcase in when she was visiting. Audrey was throwing a fit and I couldn't figure out what she wanted. She went to her closet and got her suitcase out. She made Yaya walk down the street with her. I think she may have been running away.
